I had a haircut today and they serve me with a "spice tea", I really really liked it. Theres a sweetness to it (more like after taste), so i thought there must be cinnamon in it. So I went home, make some tea, and I put cinnamon powder to the tea. I tasted it, but theres no sweet taste to it. So i added honey. It doesnt taste the same, but it tastes good!! Then I researched for its nutrition facts. WOW! it turned out to be something interesting. Heres some of the benefits that Cinnamon and Honey have:
01. Weight Loss: Drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup water first thing in the morning (empty stomach). If taken regularly it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also drinking of this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body, even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.
02. Longevity: 4 spoons of honey, 1 spoon of cinnamon powder and 3 cups of water are boiled to make this tea. The prescribed amount is to drink 1/4 cup, 3 times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and slows down old age.
03. Immune System: The daily intake of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacterial and viral attacks.
04. Reducing Cholesterol: Take two tablespoons of honey, three teaspoons of cinnamon powder and mix in 16 ounces of tea, when given to a cholesterol patient, reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10% within 2 hours.
05. Acne: Mix honey with cinnamon powder and apply paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash away the next morning.
