How-To: Easy French Mani

Hello! I will be showing you the experiment that I have been wanting to do since I saw this on pinterest: easy french manicure.

Three things that you need:
1. Reinforcement labels - I got this at drugstore for $1.99 comes with 500 labels
2. Base color polish - I choose Butter London Teddy Girl
3. Tip color polish - I am using Butter London Lovely Jubbly

** Butter London Lovely Jubbly is very beautiful glitter nail polish but these images do not do justice on how pretty this polish is. It is a vibrant magenta nail glitter with red, blue, gold micro-particles. When lights are reflecting on your nails, it's like diamonds on your nails **

to see more swatches at Temptalia.

First step is to apply the base color and make sure it is completely dry.

To save the labels, I cut them into half (as if I will run out tomorrow - I got 500 labels!! Hehe)

Then, place the half-cut label on the nails and start painting the tip color. For me putting the labels are the most challenging part because you have to actually make it centered and even height for all nails. As you can see, I kind of chipped my index finger's base color polish!

Wait until tips are completely dry, peel off label gently.

... and Viola! Your french mani is done :)

Once you applied top coat, the chip become less visible.

Good luck!

Please post the photo on my FB page if you decide to try this! I would love to see them!

I want to remind you guys Butter London is currently having their friends and family sale. Details HERE.

EXTRA:
I guess I am in a PINK mode at the moment. I dolled up my macbook pro :)
It's so pretty. I love it so much.

Deborah Lippmann [ I kissed a girl ]

Hot pink polish for the rainy summer in Seattle.. yes!

Currently I have been using Rehydrating base coat from Deborah Lippmann. It has been saving my super dry nails, I am surprise it actually works! I love my Ridge Filler base coat from Deborah Lippmann as provides a smooth canvas and it keeps the polishes stay longer. But I guess I might have to take a break from it for the time being :.(

I am also using a new top coat Addicted to Speed by Deborah Lippmann - I think the polish dry faster when I use this compared to the On A Clear Day top coat by Deborah Lippmann.

[I kissed a girl] nail color is one of the five polishes from Run The World. It is smaller (as you can see from the first picture) as compared to the normal Deborah Lippmann polishes, but i think it is a smarter way as you get more colors - and I never really run out of nail polish, they just dried as time goes by.
The polish dry to be not as bright as it is on the bottle. Still a pretty neon pink color :)

Monday Manicure | MAC Pinkly Fresh {Chenman} + OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! {Holland}

The pastel fever :P
The main color of this manicure is actually MAC Pinkly Fresh {Chenman Collection},
and I OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! {Holland Collection} as an accent on the ring finger.
I feel that their color is pretty close, the OPI is a little bit warmer and has silver glitters.

FOTD | Pink and Purple

after a week of settling down at new place.. I play with my make up again.. :)

I used everyday mineral foundation in medium (intensive finish), blush (i dont know where i got it from) but it looks like dollymix by MAC. Loreal Voluminous mascara. and Revlon Colorstay eyeliner.

i used the eyeshadow quad from ELF (eyeslipsface.com) in "silver lining". Btw, you probably knew that almost everything from the website is $1.. some of them are $3 or $5.. its super cheap!!

Here's the close up of the eye make up.. haha so messy! im too lazy to correct the mascara that is on my lid :P but from far u cant really see, it gave people an illusion of thicker lashes anyway
